Corporate Philanthropy
Zotec Partners in conjunction with Pack Away Hunger, led a volunteer event to pack meals for hungry people in emerging nations. The event was comprised of 240 Zotec employees and staff who packed 296 cases of food, equating to 64,086 meals.

Fundraising
Happy Hollow to benefit from Redemption Alewerks, 7035 E 96th St., on July 23, raising money to send kids to camp. One dollar for every Redemption beer ordered will be donated. Tim Nolan will perform at 7 p.m. You must be 21 or over to attend.

Autism Society of Indiana to benefit by Swing for a Cause Charity Golf Outing, Aug. 25 at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Shotgun start”11a.m. and registration: 9:30 a.m. Cost: $125 per person or $500 a team. We will be playing both the Sycamore and Pines courses which will be assigned day of the tournament. Hole sponsorships are $300. Contact jadeable@gmail.com.

Grants
The Julian Center received $10,000 from The Lacy Foundation.

Arts for Learning has received $1,713 from the Carl Marshall Reeves & Mildred Reeves Foundation Inc. to support a mural project at Clifty Creek Elementary School. Arts for Learning received $5,000 from the Indianapolis Foundation, a CICF Affiliate, used for the training of teaching artists and Summer Advantage teaching assistants for the Arts for Summer Learning programming.

In Recognition
Marion County Sheriff Office received the Triple Crown Award from the National Sheriffs’ Association to recognize the offices which achieve simultaneous accreditation from the Commission on the Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies, the American Correctional Association’s Commission on Accreditation for Corrections and the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare.•
