Autism Society of Indiana to benefit by Swing for a Cause Charity Golf Outing, Aug. 25 at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Shotgun start 11 a.m. and registration: 9:30 a.m. Cost: $125 per person or $500 a team. The third annual Iron Eagle Paddle & Run raised $7,800.

The Village’s Family Night at Victory Field raised over $16,000.

Grants
The JCC of Indianapolis has been awarded a $285,000 capacity-building grant by Lilly Endowment Inc.

Child Advocates received $2,500 from Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis to kick-start their Latino Youth Leaders of Indianapolis Program.

The Indiana Historical Society has received a Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Indiana State Library, to digitize 500 panoramic photographs from its archives. Project results will be included in Indiana Memory and the Digital Public Library of America. Contact www.indianahistory.org or call 232-1882.

In Recognition
The Flagship Enterprise Center in Anderson is the recipient of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2015 Growth Accelerator award. The $50,000 award is part of $4 million the federal agency has allocated in its Growth Accelerator Fund Competition to support startup growth, viability and ability to make an economic impact in the U.S.

RICS Software has been selected for the 2015 Best of Indianapolis Award in the Software Company category by the Indianapolis Award Program.

Barney Wood, Wood Innovative Group LLC, has received an Emmy in the category of “Crafts: Lighting – Studio and Location.”•
