Response to Greg Taylor’s “teachable moment.” [Conflict raises teachable moment for lawmakers, Dec. 14 Forefront, IBJ]

Taking a cue from Marcus Barlow’s column in the same [Forefront] issue of IBJ:

“The real motive of the gun control intelligentsia” (the column’s headline) is to “prevent law-abiding citizens from being able to protect themselves.” “It’s about keeping guns out of the hands of people who follow the law.”

The real motive of the LGBT lobby is to force persons of faith to accept anything the LGBT lobby wants accepted. What do they want accepted? Go to the Internet and be horrified for yourself.

What do people of faith want? To not be forced to do anything against their conscience. Which is actually protection against forced discrimination. We want to be able to live our faith. It is part of us. And we do not want to have to hire a lawyer to do that.

Noting the definite, strong, direction of the political “winds” in the Republican presidential polls, the electorate seems to feel the country is headed in the wrong direction.

Is forcing religious discrimination really a good “business decision?”
