The 2016 graduating class includes 66 students earning doctorate, masters and bachelors degrees as well as graduate certificates in philanthropic studies. It's the fourth group to graduate from the school, which was founded in 2012 and named after the Eli Lilly family in 2013.
The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday during the IUPUI commencement.
Among the school’s graduates this year is "IU First Lady" Laurie Burns McRobbie, who is earning a master of arts in philanthropic studies degree. She will be hooded by her husband, IU President Michael McRobbie, who will give short remarks during the ceremony.
In 2015, the school—believed to be the nation’s first institution dedicated to researching and teaching about philanthropy—graduated 53 students. In 2014, 33 individuals received degrees, and in 2013 the class had 50 graduates.
