Briarwood Health and Rehabilitation, 3640 Central Ave., is slated to cease operations April 1, according to parent company TLC Management Inc.
In a notice to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Marion-based TLC said it plans to move Briarwood’s residents and equipment to a new facility, Creekside Health and Rehabilitation, 3114 E. 46th St. Briarwood has about 90 residents .
TL, which operates 16 residential care facilities in Indiana and two others in Florida, said employees will be able to apply for positions at the new facility.
Of the 87 employees, 46 work more than 20 hours per week at Briarwood. Twenty-six employees are certified nursing assistants and 18 are staff nurses.
