GadellNet Consulting Services LLC on Monday announced plans to expand its operations in Carmel and add up to 30 employees by the end of 2022.

The St. Louis-based firm, which provides IT services to small businesses, said it plans to move its local operations this summer into a 6,000-square-foot space at 985 N. Keystone Way, nearly doubling the room it has in its current nearby office at 987 Keystone Way.

The new office will offer additional collaborative work space, a small gym, kitchen, and a grill and patio area.

GadellNet said it has 10 fulltime employees in Indiana and will add two more when it completes a just-announced merger with Fishers-based IT firm Blue Key Technology.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered GadellNet Consulting Services up to $325,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $50,000 in training grants based on the job-creation plans. The incentives can’t be claimed unless GadellNet reaches its hiring goals.

The company, founded in 2003, is expected to have 42 fulltime local employees by the end of 2022 to fully qualify for the incentives.

New hires will include salespeople, system engineers, help-desk engineers, development engineers, business analysts and business intelligence analysts. The positions are expected to pay average annual wages of about $60,000.

GadellNet has about 50 employees overall at its offices in St. Louis, Carmel and Madison, Wisconsin.

Its merger with Blue Key, also announced Monday, is expected to add about $350,000 in revenue to GadellNet this year, bringing total projected revenue to $9 million.

GadellNet said it will take over all of Blue Key’s clients immediately.
