Two Zionsville-based companies are planning expansions that will lead to 72 new jobs over the next four years, the Boone County Economic Development Corp. announced Monday.

Stringcan Inc., which does business as Gear Marketing, said it plans to spend $399,000 on new equipment at its facility in Northwest Tech Park and add 37 employees.

120WaterAudit LLC said it plans to spend $523,000 on new equipment and add 35 employees.

Both companies are expected to receive economic development incentives from the city of Zionsville and the state.

120WaterAudit works with large-scale clients and individual consumers to improve potable water testing and compliance. It was founded by former Compendium Software LLC exec Megan Glover and ClusterTruck CEO Chris Baggott in early 2016.

Zionsville officials approved $20,000 in incentives for the company.  Information on state incentives was not available Monday night.

Marketing and consultation firm Gear Marketing stands to receive $250,000 in tax credits from the Indiana Economic Development Corp. if it meets job-creation goals. Zionsville officials approved an additional $10,000 in incentives.
