A Fishers-based luxury, pre-owned car dealer is opening a second location near Zionsville that it says will create 30 jobs.

Fishers Imports announced Thursday that construction will begin this summer on a 4.5-acre site near the southwest corner of 96th Street and Michigan Road, next to Bill Estes Chevrolet. The new location, which will be about 25,000 square feet, will create more than 30 sales and management jobs and will feature two enclosed showrooms and a full service-and-parts department.

The new dealership is expected to open in early 2019, according to a media release. Fishers Imports estimated the total cost of the project at about $4 million, including land acquisition and development.

More than 400 luxury vehicles—mainly BMW, Mercedes Benz and Audi—will be available at the new location, essentially tripling its Indianapolis-area inventory.

Fishers Imports opened its first location in 2011 at 9550 E. 126th St. in Fishers. Customers can shop on an online platform that includes car history reports, high-resolution photos and interest rate and loan resources. Customers can complete the entire transaction online, if desired.

At the new location, Fishers Imports plans to establish a membership model to assist customers with ongoing vehicle service, the company said.

“We are excited to further expand our services in Indianapolis and continue pairing exceptional customer service with the online experience today’s consumers expect,” said Fishers Imports owner and co-founder Peyman Rashid in the release.
