Rogers, whose new title is vice president of development, rose to president of Black Expo in 2004 after serving as chief operating officer for three years.
“She will bring vision, expertise and creativity to the development of a strategic plan for Ivy Tech Foundation and will be an integral part of the senior leadership team of the college,” Ivy Tech President Tom Snyder said in a statement.
Ivy Tech received more than $15 million in private donations last year, more than any other community college in the country, according to an annual survey by the Council for Aid in Education.
