  1. You’d think after the 2008-2009 collapse, and of course the housing bust in the Clinton years, we would have regulators that regulated the regulators. But instead it’s back to anything goes for the wealthy and influential. It’s also funny how the Wall Street bunch starts dumping other bank stocks out of instant paranoia.     1. I can assure you our borders are not open. Good luck getting from Tijuana to San Diego without a passport or visa. There are also multiple border control screening areas within the US along the border. There are also fences and walls. The Coast Guard also regularly captures people trying to come in from the ocean. You’re drinking right-wing propaganda. The border is no more open or closed than it has been for decades. Trump did nothing to reduce illegal immigration, COVID did that for him.
