  1. Yet another Republican caves to Trump and his band of Trumpublicans.

“If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed … and we will deserve it.”

    1. He didn’t cave to Trump. He stood up against Trump and all Trump’s small minded lieutenants in the governor’s office and state house.

    2. They just forced him to step aside. And if you don’t think his successor will ram through redistricting during a session in which we should be working on any number of more important issues to Hoosiers, you haven’t been paying attention to how Trumpublicans operate.

    3. Joe B., if “they” can force him to step aside now, why didn’t “they” do it previously?

    4. Because we had a May primary in which several of the folks supported by Bray got primaried. They won’t be in office for the next Organization Day in the fall.

“Results from Tuesday’s primaries showed six Republican challengers endorsed by Trump defeating incumbent candidates, with another Trump-backed candidate winning an open seat primary. Only one of the eight senators opposed by pro-redistricting groups — Greg Goode of Terre Haute — was a certain winner.“

    5. Which means, Mike, Bray won’t have the votes in November. And we will have a new Trump-compliant Senate Majority Leader in Indiana, and we will waste time with redistricting to comply with Dear Leader’s wishes in a budget writing session of the legislature. Heck, it wouldn’t surprise me if they try to determine if they can have a special election to change our representatives.

But please folks out there, keep telling me it’s a “both sides” issue.
