The original State Bank of Lizton had the coolest and simple logo of a beef steer standing on a large ear of corn. The two products that were the financial basis of the local economy. Too bad that logo was abandoned and retired, it was a cogent statement of how it all started. Plus the original bank in Lizton had always claimed it was robbed by John Dillinger in the 1930’s.
