The Commission likely gets a whole lot better if you remove John Dillon from it, but he’s a Mayoral appointment.
The only removal that would benefit all of us would be Jesse Brown, but he’s elected and removal of elected’s takes an election. He does fulfill the moniker of a socialist and/or communist leader, remove all that doesn’t agree with him.
You don’t agree with him and want him removed. Socialist.
In some suburban jurisdictions around Indy, one or more members of the Town or City Council serve on the Plan Commission. Unless the one-county law that governs the MDC prohibits it, perhaps the Council should appoint one of their own to the MDC.
In area and advisory plan areas, there are actual de novo positions on the commission. Not the case under metro plan areas, where all you need is a pulse and some political party balancing.
This Meagan vukiwich has my vote for Mayor 2028. She’s is smart and articulate. I’ve watched her online and makes so much sense and has great people skills.
