  1. Imagine this white male celebrity gets off pretty easy on this. Still laughing at the republican leader response to this, the hypocrisy will be laughable as they support a short to no penalty on this violent criminal

    1. In Indiana, those accused of F5 felonies are eligible for pretrial diversion. Those who aren’t offered diversion and fully convicted of an F5 felony are eligible to have their sentence suspended, which means probation rather than jail.

      Needless to say, 1st time F5 battery offenders rarely end up getting sentenced to jail time by Indiana courts. I expect his attorneys to secure a deferred prosecution agreement for the criminal case & to attempt to get the civil plaintiff/victim to settle, but that’s the SOP. Not some exclusive treatment for the rich/famous.
