How much is the city spending to have this mess? Unnecessary expense.
Did they let the public know that it was for sale? The only thing I ever read was that it was going to be in the roundabout. There might have been a buyer out there if they had spread the word.
Deconstructed means demolition. Not a surprise that this is happening in Fishers where growth though demolition and rebuild is the mantra. Losing history has consequences but try telling that to the guy above who thinks this is just “a mess”. Atitudes like that are why every corner in every metro Indy community looks just like every other one.
Making room for another soulless building. They can build Lilly billions worth of buildings, but can’t save this simple structure.
So much history and natural landscape has been destroyed by Eli Lilly in Boone Co. It is not just a few or handful of houses, it is way more than people realize. They are now in the proses of demolishing more houses on thousands of acres on the west side of I-65 for the second Lilly Site and Meta. It is heartbreaking.
