in what school district will this fall
Lebanon
“This is a really unique property,” Whitestown Planning Administrator Allan Henderson said. “It’s a great opportunity to do a true mixed-use development.”
Just to be clear, there is absolutely nothing unique about this developement. It is just another of the many, many, housing developments classified as “mixed use” so the developer can get a TIF designation, build cheap houses, and have some retail. More stress on Zionsville schools, traffic, and our tax base. Why do these “leaders” keep approving these developments? They are not revenue neutral espcially Ryan homes. How about some decent commercial development to offset the residential taxes. I keep hearing we need to “balance” our tax base and yet neighborhood after neighborhood gets approved.
November at a glance for existing residents between Whitestown and Zionsville:
3rd: Zionsville council ok Epcon plan for 342 Homes
4th: Zionsville council ok Henke plan for 360 Homes
13th: Whitestown/Zionsville Ryan homes for 400 Homes
17th: Zionsville hearing for Pulte 269 Homes
For a grand total of 1,371 homes…….
