The woke-ification of the GOP continues. Should end well.
indoctrination.
How refreshing to hear comments from the liberal claiming “open-minded” club!!
You kicked and screamed because you saw a rainbow in a classroom.
Go sit down.
Love this!
Why?
Secretary of State’s job is to ensure fair elections not partner with a political organization. This is a blatant conflict of interest.
Yep, exactly. DISGUSTING.
+1 Mike
This is so dangerous to our freedoms. We have truly lost our Republican party to a cult of dangerous ideals.

It makes sense. You have indoctrinate them when they’re young. After all the NAZIs had the government supported Hitler Youth for the same reasons.
Turning Point as in downward spiral?
They must not follow Candace O.’s Podcast 😐
This will come back to haunt this administration.
Indoctrination through publicly-funded schools and universities. Every accusation from Republicans is a confession.
Charlie Kirk’s political and cultural stances included, among other utterances, criticism of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Martin Luther King Jr., as well as promotion of COVID-19 misinformation, false allegations of electoral fraud in 2020, and the white genocide conspiracy theory.
For the state to embrace this man is tantamount to embracing these positions. Is that what Indiana wants to be known for? Does that better position Indiana in the recruitment of new companies to the state? Indiana already has enough problems caused by its “redder-is-better” approach to governance (i.e., reduction of property taxes).
To say “hey, look at us, we love Charlie Kirk” is yet one more shot in the foot that hinders what any state should strive to be.

+ 100 Brent!!
In a March 12th article from Fox 59 online, Gov. Braun issued a proclamation: “The proclamation called on Indiana schools and universities to “take all steps to facilitate student organizations like Turning Point USA chapters that foster the values of liberty and freedom of speech for the next generation…”
I have 2 thoughts on this:
1) freedom of speech as long as that speech fits the Turning Point (MAGA) ideals. Anything else (center, liberal, left, etc.) is deemed as WOKE, and likely won’t be tolerated.
2) I wonder how Club America/Turning Point will act when a majority of students they register want to register as something other than Republican (noting that party affiliation is not part of registration in Indiana). They may be registering their opposition.
I was wondering about your #2 as well. This could back-fire on TP as many high school and college students are woke (and it’s not due to indoctrination by professors!).
