I’m an alumni. IU will never get another dollar from my wallet. Have fun with your MAGA grads. That’s all you’ve got now. The “poorly educated”. Says a lot about your BS school.
What’s actually funnier is these three people don’t even know what they’re signing up for. They’re going to be hate by the largest alumni base in the United States. Ouchhhhhhh.

I stopped giving to IU a few years ago. I do like Mel Raines but this further solidifies my decision to stop giving. Very sad for an institution that I used to respect so much.
The pace of which IU governance, policies and education philosophy has shifted to the right has been breathtaking, due significantly to the aggressive partnership of our conservative President Whitten, our far right leaning governor.
Why are we mad at IU? Braun appointed them and Legislation allowed for this to happen.
We are not angry with IU.
We are trying to let our State Legislature know we are unhappy with this legislation. We are trying to let Gov Braun know we resent his encouragement of and connivance in this legislation. We are trying to let President Whitten know the same thing.
The basic message is: If you (Braun, Legislators, Whitten) want total control of IU then you pony up the tax money to pay for it, we don’t want to donate it. We don’t like the political scent it gives education at our school.
