that was quick.
Just looking at the menu, it looked pretty light on the “meat” part of “meat and three”.
Just needed to be open for dinner hours.
Agreed. The perfect dinner concept. He should consider adding it to the Beholder menu
It never made sense to change when Milktooth was so popular. If he wanted a new challenge, then he should have opened a second restaurant or added a dinner menu.
+1.
I think his new menu suffered the same problem that cafeterias face in their declining business, in that it offered food that, although I’m sure much better prepared, didn’t differ much from the beef/pork/chicken with veggies dinners most Midwesterners regularly eat at home.
+1
Amazing to recognize the misstep, self-correct, not allow pride to sneak in, and put the train back on the tracks. Love all of it.
Perhaps a history of making ignorant comments on social media no longer conducive to his business?
That’s a fun theory, but I think you’re having Papa Roux flashbacks.
Dominic would know all about this topic
To be fair it was just OK. Wishing them well.

I hadn’t had a chance to try it yet, but you have to take your hat off to him for testing the idea. I have to think it would be frustrating for him not to have at least tried it. I imagine it has been much like the singer who is known for a top ten hit — and then stuck singing it night after night. My best to Milktooth — and, even if only a nod now — Arlene’s.
