  1. Actually, Rivers and the new kicker did lead the Colts to the win. The pass defense, specifically the secondary ‘prevented’ it counting. Until this chronically weak link is corrected, the Colts will never be a legit contender. Decade after decade, coach after coach, GM after GM…..the Colts’ secondary has been the appropriately or not, ‘Achilles Heel” of this franchise. NFL QB’s and receivers are too good to consistently allow a game of ‘pitch and catch’…..let alone when the game is on the line with less than a minute remaining. How bad is it? It’s bad by high school and college levels….maybe junior high? I hope the Irsay ladies bring in a GM with the mindset of Curt Cignetti and Bill ‘Tuna’ Parcells.

    1. Brad S. Correct. One of them played 1/2 game. The cost: Not one but 2 FIRST round draft picks.
Not understanding value is a big part of the problem in the front office. More than ever, a smart personnel GM is needed to flood next years pre season roster with non drafted free agents in order to find a few that will be playing on day 1, in particular in the secondary..and hopefully with a new set of coordinators, .Eberflus is a great example. He was terrible. Got the head job in Chicago. Fired. Ended back in Dallas. Terrible defense. These ‘recycled’ guys aren’t the answer. Oh..and then there’s Anthony Richardson!🙄🤣😞

  2. The thinking in this organization needs to change if they want to be winners. The coach & GM are not leaders and they can’t do the job. They can be given 100 chances and they will still fail. Steichen can’t take the pressure when he is behind. His play calling gets worst during games and he just can’t adjust his calls to get the right plays. I am a frustrated fan and don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel.
