Defense attorneys trying to overturn the murder conviction of the Bloomington man convicted of killing an Indiana University student in 2000 will get access to a key piece of evidence in the case. John Myers II had asked that his own experts be able to examine the bicycle 19-year-old Jill Behrman was riding the day she disappeared in Bloomington in 2000. The bike was found about two miles away from Myers’ home. In 2006, Myers was convicted in the killing and sentenced to 65 years in prison.
