The second Millennial Donors Study by local consultants Achieve and Johnson Grossnickle and Associates found that 93 percent of people responding gave to not-for-profits last year.
About 3,000 people, ages 20 to 35, responded to the survey, which was offered to them by not-for-profits across the country.
Most respondents, 58 percent, said their single-largest gift was less than $150. Ten percent gave $1,000 or more throughout the year.
