Look for the energy rather than any specific representation in the work of Tawara Yusaka. The late artist’s work is having its first large-scale exhibition here at the IMA, which will feature 77 works. Consisting mostly of ink on paper, the pieces in the show primarily come from the 1990s, when Yusaka returned to painting after a long hiatus to study and reinvent. Details here.
