A ceremony to celebrate the life of former Indianapolis Mayor and Indiana Sen. Richard Lugar is planned for 11:45 a.m. Monday at the recently-dedicated Richard G. Lugar Plaza, on the south side of the City-County Building.
Lugar died Sunday at age 87.
The event is expected to include brief remarks from Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb and Indianapolis Mayor Hogsett, as well as a wreath laying and moment of silence.
Officials said the program is expected to last less than 30 minutes.
