  1. Minda has an impeccable eye for details. He cares about the communities where he lives and works and I have no doubt Monti will be successful.

  2. Hope this does well because I want anything other than another Mexican restaurant or vape shop in Fountain Square but isn’t it a little odd to open an Italian restaurant right across the street from another Italian restaurant, Maialina?

  3. Wishing this new spot all the best! Thankful it’s not Mexican or Vape Shop as well! Bovaconti has been a great addition to the area and it’s great to see the owners investing in FS even more. We have lost so many restaurants the past several years, Virginia Ave is looking bleak (esp after La Marg moved). Here’s to hoping this place can thrive and stick around for the long haul.

  4. Monti’s menu and pics look very promising. I’ll be there. Not to pick on Mexican restaurants, loved La Marg in Fountain Square, but so many Mexican spots are so rote: beans, ground beef, chicken, cheese and overly sweet pre-made margaritas. Seems like their food come out of the same vats. Not all spots, but way too many of them.
