    1. Unfortunately, the people holding the purse strings will not care. The only harm will come to the defendants who rely on the PD’s services.

I think it appropriate for these lawyers to all move to continue all activity in the affected cases citing The Rule of Green decision, with an statement their client does not waive any rights to speedy trials or other Constitutional protections. That will clog the courts for a few years, and could lead to dismissals based on failure to observe speedy trial rules.

    Or, the MAGAts could extract their heads from whichever hole into which they have inserted them, and fund the courts…
