The town of Speedway has incredible potential. It just needs the right redevelopment. They have some of the best rated schools in the metro and near downtown. Hopefully it gets more attention in the long run.
💡 That dormant hotel location would be a perfect ‘stay and visit’ package. IMS is open year round. Hotel could hook up with IMS for museum and rides around the oval + dining at at a hotel 1-2-3 day packages with tour bus included.
I think the failed hotel project should be developed into an expanded Speedway Public Library.
