Well said, Mary!
Her written statement used the phrase, “another outstanding restaurant” twice.
Good luck with that.
I’m happy to see this.
Not sure that customers who can spend $300 on dinner for 2 would choose that location on the busy intersection of College and Broad Ripple Avenue and across from the Vogue. There are better locations for a high end dining option in the city.
I’ll happily walk a mile for a good steak dinner. I suspect I’m not alone with the sentiment. Looking forward to this new addition to Broad Ripple.
I suspect you are in a tiny minority, Brent.
I would disagree. Broad Ripple is situated next to Meridian Kessler, and just south of Meridian Hills and Williams Creek – some of the wealthiest areas in the state. This location is literally in a parking garage so any of the (mostly invalid) complaints about parking in Broad Ripple are not existent for that location. However, from an ambiance standpoint, I would agree there could have been better choices esthetically in Broad Ripple – but the corner of Broad Ripple Ave and College is far from an absolute dump.
Speaking of steakhouses, I ate at the highly touted Jeff Ruby’s in Louisville this weekend. Food was excellent , service was mediocre, and prices were very high. In fact, the prices were about 30% higher than St Elmos of equal quality. A $70 fillet at St Elmos is $94 at Jeff Ruby’s.
Rumor is that Jeff Ruby’s will open at the Hilton Signia later this year.

Has anyone heard the rumor about Jeff Ruby’s opening at the Hilton Signia later this year?
Seems like good fit. Not aware of any similar restaurants in the immediate area and the demographic is certainly there.
I think a steakhouse is a good idea for BR but perhaps another location would be better. For some reason, that location seems inaccessible even though it has attached parking. Maybe the steakhouse crowd will utilize it more. The old Lou Malnati’s would be a nice location and building but unfortunately suffers from the opposite of having too little parking

Please God make it stop LOL
I’ve heard rumbles that Ruby Tuesday’s is opening a steak house in the Marriott Signia downtown.
The local whispers carry a delicious irony: a site once dedicated to second chances and hidden treasures may soon become the city’s next destination for prime cuts and opulent dining.
With the Keystone Goodwill preparing to transition to its new home at 62nd Street and Allisonville Road, rumors are swirling that Jeff Ruby’s Culinary Entertainment is eyeing the vacant canvas at 6100 N. Keystone Avenue
