I believe the Stellantis sales numbers in the US are 100x too large. 16 million cars per year is the size of the total US auto market for all manufacturers in a good year. I may be wrong but the numbers should be checked.
They can keep changing the name out front, but in the end they’re still selling Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, among the lowest-rated and lowest-quality vehicles on the market. After making consecutive mistakes buying a couple of them in the 90s, I’ve bought anything else when it’s time to buy.
They need to do a “Kia” and go from really bad to really good in quality of manufacture.
More rationalizations and tariff excuses from this European company that has run out of their arrogant and missed market decisions. 14 brands under a single corporate control is insanity at the least. They need to sell off Jeep and Chrysler Dodge to US companies or investors.
