No Mr. Johnson, while Indiana is currently a red state, they are clearly not one through and through. The proof in in the numbers.
In the 2024 election for Statewide offices, the Democrats received 41% of the vote for Governor, 41% for Attorney General, 40% for President and 39% for U.S. Senator.
And through previous Republican Gerrymandering, the Democrat’s currently only hold 22% of Indiana’s U.S. House Seats.
And you want to bring that to 0% representation for 40% of the State’s population.
To borrow a famous quote relative to another Republican legislator, “Have you no sense of decency?”

Massachusetts is about 35% Republican. Nancy H, what percentage of House seats are Republican???? no need to research…its 100% Dem!! Democrats have imported millions of illegal immigrants to skew the Census which counts everyone. They give Drivers Licenses to them…and, voila, they have an ID to vote!!
We need a Constitutional Amendment to count only citizens for reapportionment. In the meantime, Republicans have to legally fight the Dems and mid-decade redistricting is a legal tool to o so. Sure, the Dems can do it also….but their states are already so gerrymandered that they can only squeeze a few seats out of that strategy.
The Democrats are so radical and so evil, its time to get as many out of Congress as possible so, Republicans, if you can, eliminate the two Democrat seats. If the party somewhat normalizes, they can win at the ballot box and no gerrymandering can offset sea-change elections that sweep out a party. Look in the mirror for once, Dems! This is all on you.

Reminder that Democrats tried to pass a law banning gerrymandering nationwide and Republicans blocked it. I wonder why that is, if they’re the party getting such an advantage for it? Also, a reminder that Diego Morales has spent his entire term looking for illegal immigrant voters here in Indiana and found … one, single, solitary person.
It’s funny, Republicans claim mid-district gerrymandering is a legal tool … so is blowing up the filibuster to open the government and tell Democrats to stick it with their healthcare demands. Be consistent, either be a ruthless party that cares about nothing but power or care about norms and don’t break with precedent.
This is not all on Democrats. It’s on Mitch McConnell, primarily. He had Donald Trump’s political future in his hands and he actually thought he’d just sulk away. No need to convict a man who tried to overturn an election. What an epic mistake.
