The real affects of the tariffs is beginning to settle in. The tariffs are causing inflation, which is causing prices to rise, causing a downturn in the economy, causing a reduction in employment. Until the tariffs are lowered the economy, along with employment, will continue in a downward spiral no matter what happens to interest rates.
