  1. This seemed pretty straightforward to me – you speak at the meetings and adhere to the rules – two minute time limit. You continue to speak after being told your time is up and you are removed from the meeting. Had she just followed the rules and wrapped up when told her time was up, none of this would have happened.

    1. Agreed……….The problem comes when the “rule” is not uniformly enforced. Some are allowed to ramble all they want and others are shut down and then physically removed. Unfortunately, they will hire $600 hour attorneys to fight this for a year or more and then “settle” for an undisclosed amount. And once again the city will waste taxpayers’ money on silly folly.

    2. Why Jay? Because we can’t be calling out malfeasances and cover ups in the mayor’s office during a council meeting???

    3. I agree Jay! Rules are rules. For example, when someone is being arrested (for the 20th time) just follow the rules, do what the officers told you, and none of this would have happened. Right Jay?

    4. CHUCK W…. Not sure what you’re getting at, but yes – people shoud follow police officer’s commands and follow rules.

  2. Rules should be enforced. 2 minutes period. Pease go to a City Council meeting prepared to call any perceived malfeasance within the 2 minute time frame. One can make remarks at council meetings or write to the Council and the mayor. Cover ups, malfeasance, and other actions of concern by citizens can readily be voiced.

  3. Well, had she not been repeatedly interrupted by council members asking her questions, she could have actually had her full 2 minutes. But that is not the way it played out. The time keeper should have stopped the clock every time a question was asked and answered. Her 2 minutes does not include responding to Council questions. Period. So stop making her look like the bad guy for not following the rule of order. That is on the Council.

  4. Nate’s Flock never disappoints. If Hogestt had a R behind his name you would all be wailing that the woman should have as much time as she needs, and I would agree. This is not a zoning question or why aren’t the pot holes on my street filled? Screw your time limits
What Nate Feltman will never print is that his buddy “Vop” was standing at the mic smirking at the Hogsett victim while Democrat halfwit Ron Gibson was calling for her to be Arrested!
Taylor, did you ask the halfwit what crime had been committed to merit an arrest?
