Buying a ticket to a headliner concert at the Indiana State Fair no longer includes free admission to the Fair itself, as per a new policy kicking in this season. Concertgoers will be expected to pay an additional $12 ($8 in advance) for a general admission Fair ticket on top of the $30-$60 concert price.
Patrons cannot attend a State Fair concert without buying a ticket to the Fair. But they can now buy alcohol during concerts.
The portion of the lineup announced April 13 features pop singer Meghan Trainor (Aug. 11), storyteller Garrison Keillor (Aug. 12), comedian Gabriel Iglesias (Aug. 13) and country singer Jake Owen (Aug. 14).
All of the above will be seen and heard in the renovated Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
