There's no shortage of choices for A&E events this weekend. Here's a starter list for the February winding-down week.

 “Voices of a Generation: The Folk/Rock Revolution”

Nick Owens and David Hochoy once again split the choreographic chores (as they did with 2014’s “Ray & Ella”) for this Dance Kaleidoscope tribute to the music of the 1960s. The times may have a' changed. Let's see if dance has as well.

Feb. 25-March 6  Indiana Repertory Theatre Details

“Americana Sundays”

The Jazz Kitchen launches a new monthly series focused on American roots styles including folk, country, bluegrass, and the blues, with storytelling in the mix. First up in the songwriters' circle: Frank Dean, Bill Price, Ralph Jeffers, Megan Hopkins, and Angie White. Singer/songwriter Frank Dean presents the Sunday night series from 6-9 p.m.

Feb. 28  The Jazz Kitchen Details

“Broadway’s Next Hit Musical”

The first half of this touring show is a parody of an award show, featuring improvised songs with titles suggested by the audience. The second half is a production of the musical that allegedly houses the winning song. Whatever happens, it has to be better than "Ghost: The Musical."

Feb. 26 Schrott Center Details

Silk Road Ensemble

Named for the well-traveled route between Turkey and China, this group of world musicians celebrates and combines the music of those countries and those in between.  Feb. 27  Palladium  Details

Also this week

Indiana’s own Lily & Madeleine launch a new tour at Deluxe at Old National Centre Feb. 27. Shannon Hayden opens.

Spoken-word artists Gabrielle Patterson, Theon Lee, and Januarie York offer “Speak: Voices in Indianapolis Black History” Feb. 25 at the Indiana Historical Society.

Howie Day  performs Feb. 27 at the Warehouse.

Billy Currington, Kelsea Ballerini and Old Dominion headline Monumental Music Jam Feb. 25 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Children’s Museum’s “Museum by Moonlight” offers a chance for adults to explore, play, eat and drink. Proceeds for the Feb. 27 event benefit The Children’s Museum Fund.

Indy Baroque offers “Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos 3-6” Feb. 28 at the Indiana Landmarks Center.

And, finally, I’ll be live tweeting the Oscars @ibjarts and/or @louharry. Join me there Feb. 28.
