Maybe you’ve already been introduced to the intense, funny, bloody work of Martin McDonagh.
He wrote the acclaimed play “The Pillowman,” which the Phoenix Theatre produced last year. And he wrote “The Lieutenant of Inishmore,” opening at the Phoenix this month.
He also wrote and directed “In Bruges,” the film that opened this year’s Sundance Film Festival. It stars Colin Farrell and concerns a a pair of hitmen in hiding.
Want to see “In Bruges” before it’s released in theaters? Then be part of the next IBJ Night at the Movies on Feb. 13, when we’ll be screening it at Keystone Art Cinema.
All you have to do to score a pair of tickets is be one of the first 40 people to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org with IBJ Night at the Movies in the subject line. I will send a note early next week if you’ve made it in.
Of course, while you’re here, feel free to post a comment. It’s nice to know you are out there.
