So it is only appropriate that we invite you to a screening of “Smart People,” the soon-to-be-released comedy about an English lit professor with family troubles starring? Dennis Quaid and Sarah Jessica Parker star.

It also features Ellen Page, fresh from “Juno,” and, for further indie cred, “Sideways” star Thomas Hayden Church.
