The Carmel City Council introduced its 2016 budget Monday night, but most of the discussion on the more than $125 million proposal hasn’t happened yet.
The council is scheduled for two days of budget hearings starting at 1 p.m. Wednesday with each department presenting expenses for next year.
The public hearing on the budget was technically scheduled for Monday’s meeting, but the council president, Rick Sharp, said public comments will be allowed at a later date.
