As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowCarmel-based Blue Horseshoe, a software consulting firm, has purchased TransTech Consulting Inc., a management consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio.
Terms of the acquisition, which was finalized Tuesday, were not disclosed.
TransTech will become a division of Blue Horseshoe. Its headquarters and management staff will remain in Columbus.
Blue Horseshoe, which has about 80 employees, said it plans to hire up to 15 additional workers as a result of the acquisition. TransTech has 10 employees.
Founded in 2001, Blue Horseshoe is a privately owned company that provides consulting and packaged software solutions to Fortune 500 and mid-size businesses around the world.
TransTech was founded in 1983 and provides distribution and logistics-design solutions. It specializes in providing consulting services for the publishing and automotive parts supply industries.
