A central Indiana mayor has countersued a city employee, claiming that she made false statements of sexual discrimination
in order to make the mayor look bad.
The lawsuit by Anderson Mayor Kris Ockomon was filed in a Madison County court on Thursday, two days after he lost his re-election
bid.
Ockomon attorney Daniel Whitehead told The Herald Bulletin of Anderson that he believes most people cited by parks
department manager Teresa Spencer in her July lawsuit won't support her account.
Attorney Fredrick Spencer disputed claims in Ockomon's lawsuit that his daughter-in-law gave false statements to the
news media and says she didn't leak any information.
Spencer's lawsuit alleges Ockomon tried to force her layoff after she refused his sexual advances. A federal agency dismissed
a similar complaint from Spencer.

Bet hers is bigger than "most" who struggle to get jobs. It's the combination of what and who you know that matters today.

Between the number of people who just sign their proxies with "vote according to the boards recommendations" option and the large number of corporate shares being voted, it's very difficult to get a positive vote on an anti-board initiative. The odds are stacked against any shareholder initiative so a protest is very much in order. It's not just being a poor loser when the odds of winning are minimal.
