Indiana's three candidates for governor will face each other Wednesday night for the second of three debates ahead of the election.

Democrat John Gregg, Republican Mike Pence and Libertarian Rupert Boneham are all expected for the hour-long debate at 7 p.m. at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend that will be shown by several television and radio stations around the state, including most of the Indianapolis network TV stations.

Gregg hit at Pence during a debate last week for missing votes in Congress and opposing the auto industry bailout. Pence responded that as speaker of the Indiana House, Gregg was part of a state government that left Indiana "effectively bankrupt" a decade ago.

The last of the three gubernatorial debates sponsored by the Indiana Debate Commission is set for Oct. 25 in Fort Wayne.
