Ease off Luck coverage

I am as excited as the next fan about the selection of Andrew Luck to be the Colts’ new quarterback, but do we need 24/7 coverage [May 7]?

But worse, the media in particular has devoted comprehensive non-stop coverage to his every move, toss of the football, comment, etc. Now the IBJ has added to the fracas with too much information—a messy apartment, rides his bike to class, goes by “goober,” likes Legos and has a Samsung flip phone.

Can we tone it down a notch? At least let the 22-year-old finish college first.
