The deadline is approaching for our April 6 trip to Cincinnati's Aronoff Center for the Arts to see "War Horse." Seats are filling, so get on board now if you can join us.
In addition to seeing the award-winning show, you'll be part of a post-show discussion with "War Horse" company members.
Not only will I be along for the ride, sharing trivia and adding some perspective, but I'm thrilled to announce that Patrick Weigand, former Technical Coordinator and Puppeteer for the nationally touring Das Puppenspiel Puppet Theatre and creator of puppets for the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, Phoenix Theatre's "Avenue Q," and NoExit's "Nutcracker" and "I Am Peter Pan" will be with us as well. He'll be sharing his insight along the way as well as during our post-show dinner at Nicholson's in Cincy.
And don't forget about "Big Fish," April 27 in Chicago. That new, heading-for-Broadway production carries with it an amazing lineup of talent. First, there’s Tony-winning star Norbert Leo Butz, one of the most dynamic, charismatic musical theater actors I’ve ever seen on stage. After seeing him off-Broadway in "The Last Five Years" and on Broadway in "Catch Me If You Can," I decided that I’d be willing to see him in anything. And, in this case, he’s working with director Susan Stroman ("The Producers," "Crazy for You," etc.) and composer Andrew Lippa ("The Wild Party").
