Clowes Hall's 2014/15 season will include lesser-known performers mixed with some familiar names from TV.

The most mass-appeal of those names is Jay Leno, who parlayed his relentless stand-up comedy work into the host's chair of "The Tonight Show." He'll be performing Oct. 18 and is bringing along his former bandleader Kevin Eubanks.

Fans of turn-of-the-'90s TV will recall Jasmine Guy as the star of  "The Cosby Show" spin-off "A Different World." She'll be at Clowes in Feburary with "Raisin' Cane; A Harlem Renaissance Odyssey," which features music, text, movement and imagery to recall an unprecedented time in American culture.

Viewers of "America's Got Talent" may be familiar with Lightwire Theatre, the New Orleans-based company that produces spectacular plays out of, well, light. The group will be here in March.

Also on the schedule are concerts by Roseanne Cash, Air Supply, The Marcus Roberts Trio, and Stewart Copeland as well as a visit from Ragmala Dance and a booking of the cancelled-from-last-season Tarantino in Concert, featuring not the famed director/writer but music taken from the soundtracks of his films.
