  • Compass roseEinstein Bros Bagels is moving its downtown location from 47 S. Illinois St. in Circle Centre mall to the former home of Arby's at the southwest corner of Market and Pennsylvania streets, just off Monument Circle. The restaurant, which plans to close its current location the first week of December and open the new one Dec. 19, is taking about 3,200 square feet.
  • Olive Garden plans to build a new restaurant along North Michigan Road near Retail Parkway at the edge of Carmel. The 7,800-square-foot restaurant is the Orlando-based chain's first in Carmel, though Olive Garden has locations near Castleton Square Mall and across the street from Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville.
  • Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, a U.K.-based chain that uses all-natural ingredients and avoids animal testing, plans to open a small boutique in The Fashion Mall at Keystone. The new store will be its first in central Indiana; Lush has a store at Fort Wayne's Glenbrook Square Mall. The chain has more than 800 stores in 50 countries.
  • Ulta Beauty is taking 10,000 square feet in a portion of Village Park Plaza that's anchored by Kohl's at the northeast corner of West 146th and North Meridian streets. The Illinois-based chain has three central Indiana stores, at the Fashion Mall in Indianapolis, Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville and Metropolis in Plainfield.
  • First Watch also plans to open a location at Village Park Plaza in Carmel, the third central Indiana restaurant for the Florida-based chain. First Watch is taking 3,500 square feet that previously housed a restaurant and drycleaner.
  • Tegry Bistro, an Asian cafe and sushi bar with locations in Brownsburg and at Traders Point, plans to add a restaurant in Fishers. The locally owned restaurant is taking 2,600 square feet at 116th Street and Olio Road.
  • Geneva's, a local carryout restaurant, beauty shop and barber shop, has filed plans to take three vacant storefront spaces at the southeast corner of East 25th and Gale streets. The users plan to take a total of 2,100 square feet.
  • Goodwill is building a freestanding store and donation center on a vacant parcel across from Washington Square Mall between Walmart and the Cinemark movie theater. The 15,600-square-foot store will replace Goodwill's existing outlet a few blocks to the west.
