Old National Bancorp has appointed former Indiana Chief Justice Randall Shepard to its board of directors.
The Evansville-based bank holding company announced the appointment Monday, saying Shepard as a board member will define
the goals and enforce the standards of the company.
Shepard served in Evansville city government and as a Vanderburgh County judge before being appointed to the Indiana Supreme
Court in 1985. He retired from the bench in March.
Shepard recently was named the first executive in residence at the Indiana University Public Policy Institute in IU's
School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Indianapolis.
