Indianapolis police are investigating the firebombing of an officer’s home early Monday morning near Stop 11 and Railroad Road on the far south side. The homeowner, an IMPD officer, reported that someone had thrown a “firebomb” or “Molotov cocktail” through the rear window of his home. The officer, his wife and their two children escaped from the home unharmed. Damage was estimated at $100,000.
