Greenwood police are searching for an armed man who robbed a Denny’s restaurant early Tuesday. An employee at the restaurant at 1253 South Park Drive told police the man approached the register shortly after 4 a.m. and asked for change. After the register was opened, the man showed a handgun and demanded cash. He fled in a blue Ford Taurus with an undisclosed amount of money.
