Indianapolis police used an iPhone app to track down an armed robbery suspect Tuesday. Christopher Woods, 23, was taken into custody for allegedly stealing a purse containing the phone from a 29-year-old woman at gunpoint at about 10:30 p.m. in the 900 block of East 62nd Street in Broad Ripple. Woods was tracked using the “Find My iPhone” app to the 4900 block of South Hillside Avenue and apprehended after a short car and foot chase. Police recovered the purse and found an unlicensed handgun on the suspect.
