On a seasonally adjusted basis, the pace of mortgage loan activity increased 3.2 percent for the week ending Nov. 6, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association. Rates for 30-year loans decreased to 4.90 percent from 4.97 percent the previous week. Fifteen-year mortgages were unchanged at 4.33 percent.
