from his job heading up the Indiana Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs. The group reviews programs, conducts research
and follows legislation that affects the state’s Latino population. It’s not clear why the former Indianapolis Public
Schools teacher was fired. Sanchez was the agency’s third executive director since 2003.
